“A tea party leader and former Baptist pastor — who believes that AIDS is God’s judgement against LGBT people — this week proposed filing a “class action law…
Here, I re-phrased myself:
Religion needs to be outgrown now that we have science.
Ideas are never eradicated. Even if they are they get brought back. In rare situations there are religions no one will ever remember but there are like 200k different religions you can’t expect every single one that ever existed to get eradicated.
The people who hold ideas can get eradicated but the ideas are nearly impossible to fully wipe out. This is what Crusades and Inquisitions and all sorts of other atrocities were for.
The more harm someone is dealt for an idea the harder they cling.
Actually there’s tons of leaked memos and other things that demonstrate there was religious propaganda about the War in Iraq.
It’s very possible that Bush thought he was starting a holy crusade to either bring the end times or stop the rise of demons. At the end of the day though Bush was just a puppet for his vice president. Cheney most likely made most of the decisions and most of the decisions were probably designed to give corporate contracts to Cheney’s friends.
Either way it’s all shit.
Religious Propaganda != Religious war. That is my point.
he’s afraid that he would have sex with a woman and catch aids from her because she had sex with a bisexual man who had sex with a another man who had aids.
“Religion needs to be outgrown now that we have science.”
Now that’s an idea I can get behind. The scientific method can enrich all human experience. Whereas religion seeks to chain humanity to a superstitious past, science encourages us to adapt to an ever new understanding of our place in the universe.
Yes of course there was some religious propaganda. But that’s hardly the same as an outright religous war.
I guess I was wrong about the monkey thing that’s what my friend said anyway
…and?….. You just stated what I stated but with statistics. If you try and use your assertion about “health risks” then you could say the exact same thing about “insert infectious disease here” and the other groups that it is most closely linked to. Correlation is not the same as causation. You are using the same logic as A: some terrorists are Muslims, therefore as he/she is a Muslim, he is more likely to commit acts of terrorism. Your argument is inane.
‘WE’ aren’t doing anything. I’m sitting on my sofa, in lovely London, typing this to you. I am NOT suing anyone.
You’re as scientifically illiterate as they come. I pity you, kid. Now take a walk.
Although MSM represent about 4% of the male population in the United States, in 2010, MSM accounted for 78% of new HIV infections among males and 63% of all new infections. MSM accounted for 52% of all people living with HIV infection in 2009, the most recent year these data are available.
Source: Centers for Disease Control
Hope this helps, kid. lol
Didn’t HIV come from the Monkey? That what scientist believe and they die from it everyday.
Now listen, son: 2% of the population in the United States (i.e. gay men) accounted for 78% of new HIV infections among males. Do you think this is some coincidence or something? Laughable! Of course homosexual sex is the cause you freaking moron! Shame on you!
actually the government is responsible for the AIDS epidemic and gay people who do lots of drugs, alcohol have the weak immune systems that allowed it to explode in that culture. You can find all sorts of documentaries on this subject.
Yes, “documentaries” made by delusional lunatics.
If you believe in creationism or any religion, then you are as scientifically illiterate as the come.
can the gays sue straight people for the spread of syphilis?
Why don’t we sue straight people for all the other STDs? (e.g. syphilis)
Can we sue republicans/tea part members for the spread of stupid?
he is a fucking loser
Please don’t judge me for my neighbors, not all Americans are this stupid.
